Rainmaker by Peter Loughran

Hey guys
I thought id share my intial thoughts behind Rainmaker by Peter Loughran.

Ok i was waiting for so long for it to arrive as i ordered straight from Master of Illusions in America.
Anyway i was waiting for about 2 to 3 weeks for it to come, every morning staring out the window to see if Parcel force was there and 2 and a half weeks later i finally recieved my Rainmaker.

It came in a decent sized box with the picture of Peter Loughran on the front as he is producing rain, mind u this was making me wanna just rip through the box and see what the gimmick was behind this amazing effect!!!!
As i opened up the box there was a manual teaching all the different methods to setup your gimmick.
A rain stone was included in its nice black cloth as well as the main gimmick being included aswell.

The main gimmick to produce rain itself was just amazing, very well thought of and no one could ever come up with such an amazing idea except Peter Loughran of course.
Just to say the main gimmick is very strong and large but compact and would never break. Its not small but i think it will last you a good few years even more perhaps.

Anyway i read the instructional booklit to see how i setup the gimmick and i did so.
After it was setup it felt normal on me and there was no way the spectator can see the device even if you turn around there would be nothing its all hidden.

I practiced this for a few hours and most of the time i was putting a bit of paper on the floor in front of me, getting my rainstone, charnting rainmaker a couple of times then bam it would start raining on the bit of paper.

If there is one thing i love about this effect, it would be that it is very practical.
You could just walk up to someone and just make rain fall on them its that simple.

Its easy to do, no sleights involved at all and ive gotta say i absolutely love the thing!!!!!!!

Its definately one of Peters best products he has marketed.

So the ratings out of ten.

The instructionall booklit - 10/10 the instructions were very clear.

The gimmick - 10/10 definately!!!!

the stone and cloth - 10/10 it feels really nice in your hand

I give Rainmaker by Peter Loughran a 12/10!!!!!!

I hope you enjoyed

Thanks

Nice review, although a little onesided!

Gotta love the advertising: "CAUTION! Extremely powerful effect! This trick is so powerful that your friends, family, and innocent passers-by will be absolutely awestruck! They will believe you can do anything after performing this amazing effect!"

Here's a nice promotional video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPSMUV_X ... ded#at=118

So you paid how much for that squirt gun?

I hate to bust your bubble, but the idea around Rainmaker has existed for quite some time, Peter simply developed a less expensive version that was more portable and user friendly... but it's still an over-priced squirt gun.
