Webster's Aura Readings

Postby Craig Browning » Dec 23rd, '09, 13:35

My apologies up front to Mandrake and the team in that a related thread had been locked due to some rude antics, but I felt that "Randy" the original poster, needed both, an answer and some clarification.

So if I am reading Richard Websters book right, the tingly feeling I get in my hands when I quickly rub them together is me feeling the aura. How come when I have tried to do the seeing version of it, I can't see a stream of energy or laser beam shooting from one finger to the other. Tho when I look at my hands a bit close up, I can sort of see minor outline around them.

Am I doing anything wrong or is everything heading on the right path.

CONTEXT is the issue here; I fear that you have missed what Richard is saying and why.

Richards' Aura Reading System is 100% Numerology and Color Correspondences; his system was the impetus to my own EASY READING books and in a recent turn of events, an actual Shut-Eye writer published the same basic idea for persons outside our world, as Mentalists.

The Webster system is a "Trick" so to speak; a means by which "Magicians" can APPARENTLY deliver an Aura Reading. Though the Numerology side of things is legit the rest of what he's sharing when it comes to presentation, is more "theater" than fact... I fear you are taking it on a far more literal basis.

The Rubbing of the Hands sensitizing your hands, creating a heat-based "reflection" that allows you to effortlessly move around a subject's body, keeping your hands at about the same distance while giving your patron a kinetic-based experience (it's purely psychological -- a "convincer"). It is in teaching them this approach and having them do it with others that cinches things in their mind, when it comes to the idea of pure legitimacy.

Here (http://www.mevproshop.com/aura-readings-package.html) is another Aura Reading system, based in part on Richards' material that you might want to consider. I've used it for at least two years now and it's quite practical.

BEFORE IT GETS STARTED... I'd recommend that the cynics first study the Richard Webster material in question, so you aren't showing off you lack of knowledge on the topic. Nowhere in the text does it talk about boogiemen or special powers, it's just pure "old school" mentalism being made accessible to those that choose to walk said path.

Thanks, Craig. That makes a bit more sense.
