Did any of you happen something like this?

Postby LoveKey1988 » Dec 29th, '09, 12:45

Today my brother who knows that I do magic and know some tricks took the pack of cards and cut it and asked: What is the card that I cut of? And I know that he knows that something like this impossible so I said the third card that appeared in my mind: Eight of spades. And that was the one. He thought that I have seen the card but I wasn't. I was astounded that it was the right card. Of course that's a coincidence but it's a big one. Any of you happened something like this?

treasure these moments of luck, and try to remember how it felt.
then try to recreate that moment for your audiences in every effect you do.

this is how magic becomes magical.

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....

Coincidence is your friend! Cherish it and give it as many opportunities to make an appearance as you can.

Yup. Treat coincidence as a resource and use it fully when it happens.

Coincidences are a reality and they will occur randomly from time to time. When they do, milk them for all of their worth.

Flash the bottom before they cut, so it's one in 51

turn over the face down card so it's 2/51

if you pick the same number (1/13) "you knew that number was going to come up"

if you are "off by one" then you are only off by one

or ... always have your decks stacked !

or segue into an esp 2 marked deck and prove that you are a child of the lord of the flies.

About a week ago I was about to show my agent a card trick for the first time. (This was relevent, as I told her I intend to write a series of children's novels about a magician who solves crimes.) Before I had the chance to perform the trick, she grabbed the deck and said, 'Eight of hearts'. She then turned over the top card, which was in fact the eight of hearts.

The fact that she looked as surprised as I felt amazed did not prevent me from being truly impressed.
