Predictions 2010

Postby Mr_Grue » Dec 30th, '09, 11:24

Inspired by Acorah's incredible insights (Peter Andre will find romance, you say?) I thought it might be fun to rattle off some predictions for 2010

1. Bad weather will cause great disruptions.
2. A Conservative MP will get into trouble in April or possibly early May, either with prostitutes or drugs.
3. Prince Philip will have a health scare, the outcome of which remains clouded to me.
4. Hocus Pocus will have a sale.

Simon Scott

If the spectator doesn't engage in the effect,
then the only thing left is the method.

Big Brother will be greeted with critics slagging it off, saying it's been a waste of time, it'll be seen as "meh" throughout the running, and then after it's finished, tons of people will look at the show with reverence...

- Iran will go though a period og major change. Also something will happen with the Ayatollah. End of June seems of particular interest.

- Alternative energy, especially windmills will be *the* investment for a period of time, then stall and fall drastically (possibly as late as 2011/2012).

- One TM moderator will resign, but be replaced fairly quickly.

- A football team playing in white will fail miserably. Manager will be fired.

- Major scandal involving an American pundit or newhost.

- The Vatican will release a statement in late April (?) that will cause a great deal of controversy.

- January and February will be unusally cold in Europe.

Robbie Williams will end up in a car accident

The Queen will pass away

A new series of books will hit number one, not unlike Harry Potter and twilight. The hero in this story will be male, and between the ages of 20 and 30

A singer will win Britain's Got Talent

Not a single talented magician will be allowed into the live phases of Britain's Got Talent

Derren Brown's Enigma will be filmed on DVD

Derren Brown will attempt another tv series, yet have it not up to his usual standards ala "The Events"

Ann Summers will open another 3 shops

The outdoor pursuits shops Millets and Blacks will enter liquidation

I will have a rocking stage show - go to http://www.chris-beard.co.uk to find out more! ;)

Love

A magician will release a new effect in January that will have everyone talking.

Lots of magicians will rush to buy the new effect.

In March another magician will claim the effect has been stolen from them.

Yet another magician will remind everyone that the effect first appeared in a book in 1891.

In July the DVD explanation of the new effect will appear on YouTube.

By August sales of the new effect will tail off.

Someone else will then adapt the effect using different props and prepare it for release in 2011 as the next big thing.

There will be no cure for C.U.P.S. in 2010.

I misread that as "sniper".

Could make the show worth watching, anyway.

Adam lambert will continue to try to be the male version of Lady Gaga. (I just realized how redundant that is... )

The winning lotto numbers are as follows: 45, 39, 10, 11, 7, 30, 19. (if you win, you HAVE to give me 90% of the profit.)
