Incredible Models

This is incredible. A 1:10 scale model of a Saturn V launched and recovered. Watch what happens as it lands. How good is that? At the end, there's an immensely cool 1:10 speed replay of the flight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bj4lj6YSwzg

Here's the world's largest RC model. A Boeing B29 Superfortress. Simply amazing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmKdA6L_ ... ature=fvwp

What did you think this thread would be about?

Oh, and there's apparently a UFO in the frame when the Saturn V's recovery parachutes deploy. Ten points if you spot it!

Ha! Those are C9 canopies. I've got about 20 jumps on those :)

Take care, Ian

It was a good launch. But it wasn't a multi-stage rocket. I was waiting for the second stage. Maybe next time.
