i have just bought 2 magic books and i was wondering if anyone knew if they are good if i have blown my money :S the first one is The Encyclopedia of card tricks by Glenn Gravett, boasting over 450 pages worth of tricks! and the second one is the Practical Encycloedia of magic by Nicholas Einhorn has anyone heard of these before? and if they have are they worth their money?? thanks

Well as you now actually have them, it doesn't really matter what anyone elses thinks does it. What is important is what you think of them, and whether they will help you.

The Nic Einhorn book, is in my opinion a classic. It was discussed here and is a great starter book in the same way that Mark Wilson's "Complete course in Magic" is. It covers many genres of magic and shows the workings of some great effects. It is not quite as big as the Mark Wilson book, but it does have better illustrations.

The Glen Gravett book is not in my collection - so maybe once you have had it for a month or so, and fully digested it you could do an in depth review in the reviews section...
