This years Blackpool hype....

Postby Mark Waddington » Jan 5th, '10, 19:41

.... so Blackpool is well on the way, and usually there is an effect that creates a big buzz at the convention.

But, what will it be this year?

A penny for your thoughts, ladies and Gentlemen.

Whilst we are at it, lets start a list of who will be there!!

PLEASE don't hate me for asking this... but... emm... I'm quite new to magic, and I've never been to Blackpool (apart from the see that massive damn tower), but I've heared a lot about it.

From what I can tell its an annual meeting of magicians, and a few mentalists.

Can I ask; does this "convention" have a website? How can I visit and when is it? It sounds fun :D

This will be my first time to Blackpool and only my second magic convention. My first was the IBM British Ring meeting last year which was fantastic. They are well worth going along to if you have the time and cash!

I will be there, as part of a gaggle of hypno guys. :D

I think that Ultracinese will be the hot item, along with Derren's "The Devil's Picturebook Vol.2".
