Hello all

I'm new to this forum.
I consider myself a Skilled Hobbyist who has been interested in Magic for 30 years, with mentalism being my favorite genre.
I'm 41 years old based in Harrow, London.

Recently I've purchased 'The Alchemical Tools' and 'On Mephisto's Shoulder' both written by Paul Brook's. Still waiting for those to arrive, can't wait.

Today I received 'The Ultimate Chairs Prediction' by Gary Kurtz.
Still reading through this, looks fantastic so far.

Currently I've been using Richard Osterlind's Breakthrough card system, from 'Mind Mysteries Vol 2'. My pet effect is 'Two Cards in Pocket', leaves audiences confounded. Anyone else using the Breakthrough system?

Thanks Rex

Welcome to TM, Rex! I'm a huge fan of the BCS here. I use it quite a bit, and Richard's card calling routine is a favorite among a lot of people I perform for, along with the Corinda effect.

Going to see if I can do the Blackjack demo without messing it up too badly. ;)

    Hi Ace of Spades

I've never tried performing the Blackjack demo, lovely routine though. Lot to remember when performing so good luck.

I also love his Test conditions ii routine from mind mysteries too vol 7. A really subtle and invisible method.

    :)

Yeah, I've got my work cut out for me there. I should be working it into my routine at some point.

Ah, yes - Test Conditions II, that one slipped my mind. Can't wait to do that one, either. Very curious to see how it goes over with a non-L&L audience. :)

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
