You mean Steve Fearsons Pocket Sawing in Half :) ive heard Andrew Mayne has a version but the idea belonged to Steve (it is now owned by Copperfield). Here is a link of how it originally looked, the video isnt great quality though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8hH8Le09g4

Is it really just a copy of the copperfirld laser illusion? I'd be very suprised if Andrew mayne had done that.

To be honest ive never seen the Mayne version. I have heard it is based on the fearson effect, though i assume he has some new ideas/presentational slants. Judging by the pictures ive seen, the gimmick looks very similar. Im sure he will credit Fearson in the manuscript. Penguin sells Andrew Maynes version on their site, a booklet with about 6 diffirent illusions, and if you scroll to the bottom of the page you'll see the reviews. jim
