I have this DVD although it's not been out of the cupboard for several years now.

Whether it's going to be useful to you will depend on your current level of skill. If you're a beginner then you'll probably get something out of these discs but if you're an intermediate level then I'd recommend that you give these a miss and spend your money on something more worthwhile. You'll give it a spin and find very little, if anything that you'll use. There is much better value out there is you're paying full price.

I won't use the regular review format onthis occasion as I'm not prepared to re-watch the discs - sorry :?

However, from memory - the mind reading stuff is really basic and won't fool too many people. The rest of the stuff on disc 1 is similar and consists of the french drop, waving the aces, card in mouth and haunted folding note.

Disc 2 isn't much better. There's a spongeball routine and workshop, the biddle trick (not as good as the one on Born to Perform), a few basic flourishes, a coin vanish and slydini's cigarette restoration.

Another point to consider is that you will need to have or buy a TT and IT as well as sponges to make the most of the content, assuming that you've at least got some cards.

There's not much more to say really other than to advise that you think carefully about spending your money on this and most other Ellusionist DVD's.

If I were asked to give an honest rating for this then even as a newbie I'd struggle to give it more than 5/10. As an internediate level or above then it's 0/10. There's just SO MUCH better material out there and of course these discs are aimed at the 14/15 year old market.

If you have any other questions then please PM me. Hope that this helps.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
