I'm trying to remember exactly who it belonged to, I want to say it was Bamberg, but Kirkham had a wonderful variation to the Temple Screen in which the center panels that created the screen itself upon folding, were suspended and essentially swung back & forth from the top of the outer wood frame. This allowed you to show the screen (apparently) all the way around and in a manner that was impossibly open. Yet, when you fold it up you had access to tons of stuff in that the method permitted a much larger load made up of the sort of items a traditional Temple Screen wouldn't accommodate.
I always loved that piece and wanted to replicate it but it required some special hinges that literally had to be made by hand, custom to the prop.
