Trickshop is offering MP3s of the 1940s radio programme
Blackstone, the Magic Detective. Each episode delivers 15 minute of magical melodrama. As a capper, each one ends by teaching the audience a simple trick.
I've gone ahead and bought the whole set for the exorbitant price of $6.95, but you can buy individual episodes for 50 cents each if you prefer.
They are vintage recordings with authentic crackly sound and the occasional wavering volume, but that's all part of their charm.

Well... yes, sort of. I don't think any professionals need worry.
The one I've been able to listen to properly so far featured the broken and restored match in handkerchief.

Quite right, disgraceful exposure, next thing you know someone will claim that David Blaine used camera editing for his TV Balducci levitation....
