anyone else having any problems with the alakazam website? In the middle of a £100plus shopping spree and now the website has hung up! AGAIN!

No CUPS therapy for the night!

I get it all the time, its locks up or just won't load at all.

I on go on the site virtually every week day at least a couple of times to keep up with the new stuff added. It locks up at least once a day for me.

It must be the host they use as I can't believe they get so many people on it hangs the site, or maybe it does hang when more than a few are on?

Just had a look now at 8.20am and its down it won't even load!

last night after submitting my order (after lots of frustration with the search facility) I waited 12 minutes and the page had "hung up" when I could resist the temptation to click the submit button no longer (i know your not supposed to) still nothing and then an e-mail saying thanks for my order???? Hmmmm not good. But I'm going to call them today as they need to know and I should stop whinging to the forum.

just off the phone; They are aware of the issues and strongly agree with the faults etc and are having the matter "resolved" in the next 3 weeks.

I remember reading somewhere (Facebook, maybe, on Peter N's profile) that they were looking to launch a new site shortly. He wasn't very happy at all with the performance of the current site....
