I know what you're thinking

Hello...

This is a effect I came up with while reading Scarne on Card tricks. I was reading an effect that I didn't like but this gave me the idea for what was to become " I know what you're thinking". This is a mentalism effect that uses cards. Please tell me your thoughts about it. Also if something like this is on the market please let me know. I don't plan to commercialize this effect. This is a give away.

I know what you're thinking

Any thoughts on this?

I'm sure I've seen something similar by Daryl (or was it Royal Road?), except he uses a key card and does the "feel my pulse" thing.

Anyway, stick on another 45 minutes of handling, add in a "performance only" demonstration of something and you have yourself a nice little DVD.

First, I am a Scarne enthusiast. I read the same book over 40 years ago and found some true gems in there. It's still in my library.

That being said, I read your manuscript (and enjoyed it). You should consider having it edited - but that is another point.

Your trick is already published in many guises and many places. I can not give you a name to credit, because I don't have time to do the research right now - and my ever aging brain no longer delivers all names to the tip of my tongue. Others will likely step forward with some names soon. This is not to take anything away from your discovery! I applaud your willingness to think deeply about your magic! You have obviously come up with something strong, and the fact that others have had the same idea should not discourage you - quite the opposite.
