I'm seeing him in Bristol on the 5th and I can't wait!! I am so taking a deck of cards down for him to sign my ace of spades... maybe even a quick ACR??

Hoping to go see this with a non-magic friend in Birmingham. Anyone know when this will air on TV?

FINALLY got to see this show last night in Buxton. Absolutely loved it!

I didn't know almost anything of what Derren was doing, which was good. I got to see it as a true spectator. He's a very funny man, there was great banter with the audience and he got a massive standing applause at the end, thoroughly deserved.

Only complaint is that he kept cracking his jaw at the tinfoil trick which made me feel slightly ill

Saw the show in Birmangham this week, a couple of tweaks had been made to make things flow a little better and still a superduper show. There was a bit of a fumble with the slates at one point but Derren showed a hitherrto unsupsected talent for impromptu juggling!

Indeed - I didn't like the change made to the foil routine - missing out the card aspect in the 3 reveals was a bit crappy imo

And with the second half, the volunteer "behind the curtain" (so as not to ruin it for anybody) - what was the point of giving her a little white handbag? That was new?

Were you there on tuesday too? It was marvelous, wasn't it? Although he was indeed a clutz- dropping and spilling things every few minutes  I met him backstage and he signed my cherished 13 steps to mentalism and chatted a little about magic, how nice :D
Also- for anyone who hasn't seen it- GO! Best stage show yet and a killer ending- which I thought wouldn't be able to top something wicked this way comes, but even when I knew what he was doing there were still many emotional and memorable points in there. It was also lovely to see the numerous 'Nymanisms'. I must admit- those two are unstoppable. Class and brilliance- top flight entertainment from one of the best.

The girl in a trance and smock almost walked down our row on Tuesday but she went down the one in front instead. For a moment I had the awful experience of seeing my ugly mug enlarged on the screen behind Derren - I was trying to look intelligent and enigmatic but looked like a complete pilllock as usual!

I was on the second balcony (The one above below the top one- not the second of the two actual balconies..) and was probably on the big screen in awe and admiration as he stood and paused at the end of my ilse to choose a trance subject.

Just a quick question:

Do you think stooges were used during the show?

Be honest Tom, 99% of what Derren does you haven't a clue about. Maybe it's best if you stop wildly guessing and try satsify the inadequacy that has been generated by being fooled.
