Magic shops in Birmingham?

Postby bombbob » Feb 14th, '10, 00:22

Hey.

I live in Birmingham, England. I'm wondering if anybody knows of any good magic shops in the Birmingham area - just a simple magic shop which sells a nice range of bike cards.

Would be great to find a magic shop near the city centre.

Cheers.

Rob.

World Magic Shop is the obvious choice but if you can travel a little further a field then there is Kaymar Magic in Nuneaton and in the Opposite direction is The House of Magic at Stourbridge.

If you're just after Bikes and can join or know someone who's a member, Costco at Star City is a very cheap source for bricks of Bikes.

Ah, really? My Mum is a member of Costco. I shall make it my duty to bug her to go there.

Any idea of what the prices are like?

Cheers.

Last time we checked (about 2 yeasr ago!) they were about £12 a brick, 5 red, 6 blue. They're usually over by the books and games, sometimes they're even under the display so if you don't see then straight away, ask an assistant to check stocks and locations.

I thought a brick was 12 decks? Was that a typo?

It turns out I've been wasting my money buying bricks for 22 pounds then..

Thanks.

Anybody know of any in the Shropshire Area? I heard there was one in Shrewsbury but am yet to find it. Maybe it only appears if you jump in a fireplace and shout Magic-Shop :)

House of Magic UK is amazing, if you live near brum. I never understand why people buy tricks on line if you can buy them from an expert face to face. also, they will tell you what not to buy. well worth a visit.
