After he ended up falling out of bed like 4x during the week, he lost all the strength in his legs. Which is odd, because a few days earlier he had more strength in his legs than he usually had. He's 91 though and it's pretty much to be expected. Oddly enough his brother in law is 95 and seems to be doing "OK" relatively for a man his age.
So far his upstairs facilities have been going haywire and he's need of a lot of physical therapy to get back into "OK" health.

Sympathies on your (or rather your family's) problems. Hope everything goes well.

On the bright side, very long-lived grandparents statistically indicate that you may very well enjoy a long life yourself.

Col's always been pleased about that. One of his grandfathers died at the age of 101, by falling off a ladder while mending the roof. Another died at about 106 when his horse threw him. A couple of tough old birds there!

Same here. We have no heart disease, cancer or dementia in the line on either side and live well into our 80s. That includes the ex-smokers and drinkers.
