OK, I have Out Of This World and White Star, both of which share a similar method...

...but DB's version had the spectator split the photos into two piles - drawn to and not to drawn to - and appeared to end up with two piles of perfectly divided photos, and not the more obvious three piles at the end, which always seems a little suspect...

...if anyone can PM me and perhaps help throw light on what the DB move may be (was it edited out of the footage, or have i simply missed it...?) that would be much appreciated as I'd love to perform a cleaner version like this.

It uses Derrens own version of Out of this world, which he teaches on The Devils Picture Book. It is well worth owning a copy as there are some amazing effects on there. His method has only 2 piles used and the move is simple.

Sadly that would be too close to exposure so the best you can hope for are hints and suggestions. While you're online, why not pop over to Intros and tell us more about yourself?
