Best place to buy foreign decks in the UK?

Postby bombbob » Mar 6th, '10, 17:16

Hey.

I'm not sure the title was the best way to word what I'm after. But I'm looking for decks such as the decks found on the Theory11 website, like the Propaganda deck, or Bee Stingers.

Buying these cards direct from Theory11 costs a lot in postage and packaging, which I'm not planning on paying for. Does anybody know of any place where I can get these decks from a UK supplier? I haven't found anywhere selling them.

Thanks.
Rob.

They still work out cheaper buying firect if yet buy at the right exchange rate and select the cheapest postage rates but they take a little longer to arrive.

However, when our post office and customs add their charges on top - that's waht makes them un-economical

Indeed. I tend to look on ebay as they seem to be the cheapest I can ever find them by the brick- usually works out as something like £1.20 a deck

If you can find any Theory 11 or Ellusionist decks on ebay for that price then please post the link.

I've searched ebay and I tend to find that for these cards ebay is amongst the most expensive place to buy.

You're much better of phoning a dealer such as http://www.cards4magic.co.ukand asking them if they will give you a discount for buying a brick.

Quite often they will unless you are buying them as the cards are released which is when the demand is at the highest. You'll often pay for 10 or 11 and get one or two free.

Another option is to find someone who travels to the States on a regular basis and can bring some back for you.

I ordered on Saturday. But most websites have an automatic email sender, atleast saying they have received payments.

Thanks anyhow :)

C4M don't send auto replies, if your order and payment were successful and you saw a receipt of some kind then, depending on the shipping method selected, you should get the goods within that timescale. Any longer than that would be unusual. I've bought from them for years and have never had any problems at all.

Clive who run cards 4 magic has a day off on Sunday so you'll most likely get a reply on Monday - Today!

I've used them for years and never had a problem and wouln't hesitate to recommend them.

they may even turn up today, or tomorow. They are the absolute best company in the business when it comes to cards. Because that's almost all they do.

I always like finding companies which are reliable and give a good service :) And many of them seem to be based around magic... Maybe that says something about magicians.
