hi, my name is David Blaine, and i have been insterested in magic for along time. :D

I used to do some magic on tv a while back. I generally favour the street magic approch.
I also like doing stunts to challenge me metally as well as physically, and did things such as 'Above the Below', in which i staying in a Perspex container for along time. I did many other things like this as well...

I hope you can treat me as a normal forum member. 8)

David - change your name to someone who you actually are, and be yourself. Sure, you can be interested in street magic, but keep yourself open minded. You won't get far on a journey in magic by copying someone else. Take yourself for the ride and discover all about you.

Experiment with magic and find yourself.

I look forward to seeing you around the boards.

Whoah. Check me getting philosophical.

Especially not DB :).

Although it may not seem obvious to laypeople, David Blaine's effects are generally relatively easy effects which you can buy off-the-shelf at any decent magic store (take Anders Moden's Healed and Sealed for an example).

If you want to copy someone, try Paul Daniels, Jay Sankey, Lennart Green, Paul Harris, Roy Walton...the list is endless :)

Anyway - welcome to TM and despite the few negative posts we really don't want to put you off magic, or this site for that matter.

You'll have gathered now that DB is a contraversial figure for most but we all enjoy street magic as well as other forms of magic. You'll find some great information on this site and when you've allowed yourself some time to catch up with the posts you will understand why DB isn't the best name to come onto any magic site with.

Enjoy - and don't be put off!
