Hey Guys

Great meet up indeed that went on all day with no let up.

I worked out we went to

Kro, Crown and Anchor, View, Velvet, Font, Ape and Apple, Moon under water, Label and one other bar of which the name escapes me. Quite a day out anyway.

It was great to meet some new faces and I'm glad they've all said they'll come back to another one. if anyone is in any doubt at all then this should reassure you all.

When is the next one?

That other bar was actually a barber shop.

Agecroft It was the Hogshead on Deansgate.

I don’t know what's wrong with you young ones after only eleven and a half hours into a drinking session and you forget the seventh pub we visited.

It must have been the cocktails you had in Font that effected your memory.

Cocktails are known for having a mildly memory altering/wiping effect. :p

It occurred to me after posting my previous comment that I actually did a couple of tricks... there's the afore mentioned coin one and a card one too. I did that a few times and it went down pretty well - which was good.

Apparently I'm a lot less shakey-handed with the DL than I used to be.

I blame the food for memory forgetfulness, not the 10 pints and 4 cocktails before it or what have you.

I think I did a trick or two as well :)

Actually I can remember the majority of the day/night including a midnight subway walking through the drive through.

Font was great, I wish there was one in Leeds... £2 for most cocktails, with the really nice cocktails being a hardly-bank-breaking £3! Brilliant.

Yes, it did get rather undignified right at the end... walking through a subway drive through with some Irish crazies... but that footlong meatball marinara was just what I needed :D

Just to try get a little momentum under the 24th I can come out and play on this date only if someone else stays out until the early hours. If no one else is available until the small hours I will have to give a pass on this month.

So who is out to play on the 24th?

As mentioned before I have decided to come out of retirement.
Unfortunately i'll be in the lakes on the 24th, so hopefully i can make it to the next meet.
At least I'll have some extra time to practise.
