I'm am working on something and as great as the internet is, its not helping or giving me what I want.

I need a name, it needs to be unique and somewhat magical or magical/ancient sounding. It needs to mean saving light or something similar.

If anybody has any ideas at all, please let me know.

Do you mean a name for a routine or act, or do you mean a stage name for yourself ?

Quite clearly you are not trying hard enough. But anyway:

Lux Lucis - light saver in latin.
Isik Tasarrufu - saver of light in Turkish.
Ka Roshni - of the light in Urdu.

Well, I'm writing something and its just for myself really, but I need a name. I have my own ideas, but I don't like them and they're not unique enough. And I want the name to be unique and to have meaning.

'Ferrarius carrius' sounds a bit more like a spell of some kind, but perhaps you could use it in your novel.
