No doubt many of you will have already discovered this but, in case you haven’t, here are the details!
Visit
http://www.worldmagiccenter.com/Theory/ ... Magic.html and you can download/print off Al Schneider’s complete Theory of Magic. I haven’t read all of it yet (there are over 80 pages) and, whilst some of the content is obvious and almost condescending, there’s also a lot of it which is extremely useful. For a freebie (ignoring the cost of your paper and ink cartridge) it ought to be in every Magician’s library!
The 12 chapters and topics covered are:
Technology of Magic, Levels of Magic, Basis of Magic, Assumptions, Direction and Misdirection, Study of Motion, Clarity, The People Part, Magic Impact, The Kind of Magic You Do, Patter, Five Steps to Mastery.
