The Elevator (or NOT) - by Peter Laughran

I have been asked to write a review for this item as I purchased one some time ago.
From my point of view as a Professional Walk round Magician (working for the British Armed Forces for the last 15 years) this was a complete joke of an effect. I probably should have guessed by watching the demo video that this was the case but I still parted with the money.
Yes, the video dem, shot at about 1 candle Lux, it was dark, and I mean DARK, but in honesty this is the only way you could perform this effect and get away with it.
The description stated that the effect was angle proof except from the rear & near rear sides.................rubbish, it should have said "if viewed from the front by a person who was over 6 feet tall then this effect is great"
But that would even stretch the truth. when elevated you are no more than 3 inches off the ground and remaining stable is almost impossible when risen.
The only person this would fool (IN MY OPINION) is David Blunket MP, no offence David, just making a point mate.
There is one plus side to this effect, the P&M Reel used is of high quality and retails for about £30/$45.
My advice keep the reel, bin the rest, its absolute garbage.
Stick to the Balduchi Levitation, it costs nothing and is much better in effect and ease of performance.
This is not a street/Walk round effect by any stretch of the imagination, keep your £/$ in your trouser/pants pocket..........or if a Lady Magi....in your purse.
May the Force be with you.

Are you referring to the E1 or E2?

E1, I have seen a dem of E2 and it did not improve the effect in my opinion.
