Beardy presents the crucifiction from "Mind Over Matter

Postby Beardy » Apr 9th, '10, 13:22

Well here is the crucifiction from my show. After watching it back I realise that I could have done it so much better, and played it up so much more.

The video quality isnt brilliant as the spotlight was too bright for the camera.

You could cut the tension with a knife live, and it was really enjoyable. I can see the improvements that need to be made on this one, but thought that I would show you all!

Enjoy!

I liked it, but I thought you weren't allowed to hypnotise people?? At least not 'for entertainment purposes'. I think the dangerous thing with things like this is that people might think you can just talk to someone and relax them a stick a needle in their arm and not have to worry about it being dangerous :o . Still, great opportunity for some drama and controversy :D Hope things are still going well with you and her :P
On that note, how does Derren get around that hypnotism for enigma- I'm seeing it later this month :D

I dunno, quite a few years back.

And that is only my interpretation of it anyways, so I couldnt really be sued...

Because i didnt knowingly and deliberately hypnotise her at all!

He gave her a post hypnotic command to tell friends and law enforcement that she was in on it and was never actualy hypnotised.

And that she owes him money.

And that she's his girlfriend.

And that she enjoys being tied to a cross with a sack on her head while he pokes things into her.

Invoke not reason. In the end it is too small a deity.

'well, he hypnotised me to do some bondage with him and then it all struck off from there- I definatley enjoyed it

I hope you don't mind me saying, but I think it would have been much better in complete silence. I liked it otherwise

Damn you Kolm with your constructive posts. Thats not what talkmagic is about. We're here to mock Beardy for being a perv, not make mature comments on the performance.

..Because as explained in the show "Its not hypnotism...just a very suggestible relaxed trance state... ;)"

Gota love technicalities.

I agree- silence is golden, and I have no idea if you tried the old 'some of you might want to leave during the interval'... but on the positive side, the fact that they were laughing at first and not too anxious (which I'm sure they were during the trick) beforehand as an audience, means you had a good rapport with them, not to use the nlp term. On that topic-
 spooneythegoon! it's that god damn easy??!! Derren is one cheeky git. Hypnotism doesn't actually exist though- that's the thing- it's only the belief it does.
Anyway, I must not forget to titter at the on stage bondage
Ha! Titter. that's funny because it sounds rude
