Nail Writer

Can anyone recommend a good nail writer or TT? Only requirement is that it should be well made enough to not to keep losing the lead from it at awkward moments.

If you're comfortable with a boon style writer, I'd recommend Lincoln's Best Boon or Piatt's Scarab. Vernet's is actually quite functional too, but I prefer the pencil lead version to the grease pencil lead version, which has a habit of 'dragging'.

Personally, I've never been comfortable with TT or C-style models.

Thanks for all the info you linked me to, very useful.:) I did like the sound of the Scarab. I always had problems with angle and maintaining even pressure across the cards I write on. The Super Sharpie sounds like it has a couple of interesting possibilities too though. Hmmm...

I use the Vernet boon which does a really good job, I've never used eiterof the others although have heard good things about them both. Lead is easy to replace with the Vernet and I've never had the lead fall out.
