As I write this post, I should be sat on an aeroplane winging my way over the Atlantic to Orlando, for a 2 week break with my family and meeting ole Mickey Mouse!

But, no, instead I'm sat in my office waiting for a tiny glimmer of hope that the air lines will re open and my flight can be rebooked for this coming weekend, if not I lose out on everything!

Not so much really worried about the money, I'm just upset that my little boy (Whose only 5) has been looking forward to going to Disney and meeting all his favourite characters, and he's had his poor little heart broken!

I'll keep you all informed of further progress, if any!

I feel sorry for you Taffy, a couple of friends of mine are supposed to be in South Africa, instead they're still stuck here.

That's does suck.

But, from what I hear most airports have just re-opened :D.
It would probably still be a b*tch to get anywhere though.

Although I wasn't planning on going anywhere overseas, I was planning to go to the Kostya Kimlat lecture on Wednesday night but apparently he is stuck somewhere in Europe....well, at least that's what I was told.

It is interesting to see an event cause so many travel problems yet does not involve someone striking or two cms of snow :P .

Hi Guys,
Thanks for all the nice words.

Well, to keep you up to date, I eventually got out there, 2 days later with a different airline.

W had a great 2 weeks holiday, and my boy got to meet Mickey and pals, but now I'm back and raring to go ! :D
