Has anyone ever had a problem flying with flash paper?

I carry a small flash pad in my wallet all the time. Would I need to leave that behind if I were to hop on a place someone? (Not that that is very likely at the moment!)

Definitely NOT allowed on a plane. If they find it (unlikely I know) then you will be held and questioned. Don't chance it!

I don't think that I'd chance it on a plane, I wouldn't have thought they'd question you over a small flash pad, more likely it'd just get confiscated.

While on a plane to New York about 3 years ago I opened up my bag to get out a deck of cards and noticed I had a lighter and a stash of flash paper in there as well.
Slightly worried about landed at the other end though nothing ever came of it.
Also slightly worried I'd got it on the plane, I wasn't even trying!

In the Birmingham area I'd first try World Magic Shop and then Kaymar at Nuneaton. Phone first before travelling, just in case.

When I use flash paper I cut and fold a number of sheets to match Rizla's and then carry them in a Rizla packet. I saw someone use this a few years back and have used it myself since.

Thanks for all the help :) Great to get a large response. I imagine getting caught on a plane with the stuff won't be a good experience though...

There's your problem.
Cheaper price generally means a cheaper [quality] product.
With something that could take your eyebrows off do you really want to go buying the cheap stuff? False economies all round there!

I think you've misunderstood me. You can get price differences for the EXACT same product in shops. One isn't of a lower quality, the shop has just priced it different. There would be no difference between the quality of the products. If one was cheaper because it was made cheaply, then there would be a quality difference. There is no problem in asking if anybody has found a site which sells the same flash paper, same brand, made in the EXACT same way, as other shops, just at a cheaper price.

I asked if I was buying the things for a good price, or if I was buying above the going rate. As I said, I only know of a few magic shops, so I can't compare prices over a wide range.
