Anyway for it i need some supplies like shims and changing glue and magnets the sort of stuff you used to find on NUMS but last year NUMS didnt deliver anything to me that i ordered and it was a pain trying to get my money back with the owner of NUMS trying to imply on paypal that i was making it all up!

anyway enough ranting i wanted to know if theres anywhere you guys recommend for picking this stuff up

Thanks Iain... but i did search the site. im looking more at shimming my own cards rather then buying ready made ones and card4magic only sell ready made cards.

hope that clears it up

If you don't have it yet pick up Chuck Leach's book PSYCHOKINESIS: Controlling Physical Objects with the Mind. Chuck is the heart and mind behind CHAZPRO Magic (http://www.chazpro.com) which is the primary source for PK "basics". Chuck offers a PK Kit that will give you a very solid overview when it comes to shim materials, foils, etc. and the how to side of things; again, I would highly recommend the investment.

When it comes to magnets I tend to use http://www.kjmagnetics.com here in the states. They have an incredible array of products and some of the better prices I've found on line when it comes to the type of magnets I require.

I would likewise suggest that you take a nice long day to think about what it is you're asking about. Considering the fact that magnets affect two primary materials; ferrous metals and other magnetic items. With this in mind it should be rather obvious that most any hardware supply center has all the shimming material you could as for. Then again, some of the nicer shims I've used over the years, can be found in an artist supply center and even the local drug store. So take the time to not just think about what I'm saying here, but to write out a list of possible shim material that exists in daily life and readily available... stop complicating what's actually simple
