It turns out I was otherwise engaged. Rather than being in Manchester I was on a farm in the hills overlooking Clitheroe and Pendle Hill for a nice little trip in a borrowed camper van.

From the good food, ale and company to the scenery, lambs bouncing all over the place and a nice bit of riding my bike (on and off-road) it would have struggled to be better.

I will get along to another meet soon enough - next month's if I can. I'll keep an eye on here for the date and get along if something doesn't stop me.

You may as well stick me down as a "maybe" if anyone's keeping count. :p

Can't remember if I'm busy on the 23rd May but that's about the right day, folks up for it? or even the Sunday of the bank hols maybe on the 30th?

My vote goes towards the sunday of the bank holiday weekend, which is apparently the 30th. My vote also goes towards a BBQ. I have a back yard the size of a postage stamp so I can't host it, so I guess that bit would be up to somebody else to organise

So, let's get the ball rolling. Who's up for that date, and who's up for going?
