Hello boys and girls...

I'm from one of the smallest countries in EU, Slovenia (not Slovakia...common mistake :) )

I'm pretty new...I did card tricks(which are my favorite) for a long time when I was 15...My favorite was to get the spectator to pick a card..after shuffling the selected card was the only face down in a deck...and then you show that the whole deck has changed from red to blue except for the chosen card....amazing one...I remember practisin moves for months....

So basicly after 10 years here I am again...have no idea how to perform that trick again :) (my father threw away all the books :( )...

I was wondering if anyone can suggest any good DVD's or (better) books which shows(teaches) basic palm moves....

Yesterday I ordered Magic Card set 1 & 2 from magictricks...and ofcourse I couldn't resist to some stuff from ellusionist  ...decks and the exchange...(and the mat :) )

But as I said I would need something to renew my memory with basic palm moves....

Hi there!

I recommend this DVD to everyone I meet, so you're no exception :D.

Oz's Born To Perform Card Magic.

It's got everything from DLs to routines to the Classic Pass to the Erdnase Color Change to one-handed thumb fans...OK, I could go on but I won't. In short, it's worth way more than it costs...£15 is a bargain!

the previous post was mine...didn't even realise that I'm not logged in :)..

Hey Juan are you sure you want to come to Ljubljana for a holliday?I mean it is very charming city but...??You should go to the coast! The most beautifull thing about my country is that it is so small(you can drive it in 3 hours) that you have a one hour to the coast to get a swim...one hour to the mountains if you want to ski and one hour to the most beautiful vineyards in Slovenia..very small country..yet very "practical" :)

Welcome to TM swimming, skiing and vineyards all within one hour. Sounds like a pretty cool country you have there to me. 8)

If you want to learn alot of moves then i'd suggest Daryls DVD's "encyclopedia of card magic" there are not alot of tricks on them but they are full of moves.

I must confess that I have never seen GERRY Griffin's set of card DVD's, but I have seen Daryl and he is not only a very entertaining performer, but also a great teacher of magic. So I will agree with sam:mf and go ith the Daryl Encyclopedia idea.

If you also want to expamd out into other genres of magic and don't know where to start, then I would also recommend Daryl's Foolers Doolers series...

Thanx...yes you're right...it's Gerry Griffin...I'm not a native speaker so I can easily be confused with names... :)
