Come to the Houdini Seance on Saturday night - FOR FREE!

Postby themagicwand » Jun 11th, '10, 10:10

That's right folks, thanks to World Cup madness we have several spare seats available for the Houdini Seance tomorrow (Saturday) night. I'm happy to let them go for free to any TM member and their friends who'd like to attend. It's a cool, spooky, magical way to avoid the World Cup! Tickets normally retail at £20.

The event takes place in Covent Garden, London and lasts from 7pm until 10pm. If you want to attend, send me a PM and I'll send all the details back to you.

Meet the Great Voodini and the even Greater Chris and hold hands with them in the dark! Ooh, spooky!

Full details can be found at www.victorianseance.co.uk - just clock on the Houdin iSeance button.

Aw, I would come if I could at all. But it's just too far for a short-notice trek.

It was an Interesting evening.

overall not much occured, which made the things that did happen, much stranger.

Along with a lazy glass move, automatic writing, and an active table, those there experienced...

A whispered word.. A strange shadow, flickering lights, and after it was all over... a radio switched it's self on for a second.

And there was one allmighty bump in the night.

the lass in the shop heard it.. but didnt know what it was.

Yeah, it had a totally different vibe about it to the Jack the Ripper nights. Overall I think I prefer the Ripper nights, but it was eerie to hear the recording of the last 1936 seance, the automatic writing was a bit freaky - the girl seemed to go into trance for a short while, and the bump and radio were both weird, plus two girls heard a female voice whisper "Harry".

Highlight of the night - Chris spotted Dr. Who walking through Covent Garden. I missed him as I was driving the car at the time!

Yeah, we drove off from Tavistock Street, encountered screaming fans outside the stage door at Oliver, turned a corner and he was just walking down the road as bold as brass!
