Contact mindreading experiment

Postby Jon Bloor » Jun 17th, '10, 16:59

One question on my mind is that i recently conducted a contact mind reading experiment on someone i know. I only did this to look for unconious movments and try to direct me to the answer. The main question was to think of a childhood memory, i successfully narrowed it down to it been a good memory and the age at the time.(as this was a first time i am still thinking it was a fluke that i got it right)

During this time i was holding the guys wrist for 'muscle reading'. I tried to suggest what the memory was about, but unfortuently, failed misrabally.
The good thought he had was the first time he learnt to ride a bike.

Has anyone got any suggestions on how i could pick up these thoughts or how it could be possibly to find out what the persons memory is??

If you haven't already gussed it is a early Derren Brown mind reading trick.

Thanks
Jon

Contact Mind Reading should be like other contact sports.
I keep saying the same about contact juggling but it usually results in me tackling someone who then gets very angry at me.

If you want to learn contact reading, I'd recommend investing in Psychophysiological Thought Reading by Banachek. It's an excellent book. Not the cheapest, but well worth the money if that's something you're interested in.

not really into the whole "how does x,y,z do something.." thang...

mentalism is often a combination of techniques...and to the layperson, even if they have heard of (in this example CMR) - then you may want to think about that layering of techniques to create something stronger...

This is sounding a lot like someone that don't know what contact mind reading (muscle reading) is about...

HINT: It won't let you gain insights to someone's past.

If that is the sort of thing you wish to do I'd suggest you invest a heck of a lot of time into developing your Cold Reading skills along side billets and other underhanded tactics. CMR is closely related to Dowsing or versions of Scrying; learning more about Pendulum work and what ideomotor response is about will take you light years forward.

Contact Mindreading

Postby Allen Tipton » Jul 28th, '10, 14:38

I began CMR by Reading Corinda's 13 Steps.

Then came Eddie Dexter's Entertaining With Contact MR--simple & straightforward

MY FAVOURITE & most informative book on the subject and it is very practical & easy to read,is 'Practical CMR' by Dr. Edward R. Schatz. Published by Micky Hades.

The Satori book is worth a read.

I think You need to look up works on Cold Reading.
CHECK out Kenton Knepper's 'Completely Cold'.
With his simple system you can really get to know their thoughts.

OTHERWISE use a Clipboard & its many notebook variations or the Centre Tear.
