			part way there but don't cut three ropes the same length as you'll wast one part.
Also how long you cut will depend very much on how long the length of rope is that you already have.
I start by cutting onem two metre length of rope. Then cut this in half so that you have two one metre pieces. Put one piece aside.
With the one piece that remains, cut the short length off one end, this will usually be about 15cm.
You then use the short piece with the one metre long piece which, when folded will equal the remaining part giving the impression of three equal length ropes.
