Needle through baloon

Postby Johnny Wizz » Jul 2nd, '10, 19:55

Any idea where I might get a suitable needle for this effect?

If possible I want somethingwith an eye to thread some wool through. A knitting needle just doesn't seem the right thing

Local markets often have knitting stalls (allegedly) and you can buy all sorts of interesting sized and shape needles for knitting, sewing and crochet (so I'm told!) from them.

Get the proper needle in wand for this effect.

The needle has the loop that you desire and the wand keeps the needle well lubricated which is important.

Mike Danata stocks them as well as the baloons and they're not that much to buy.

A knitting needle won't work.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
