No Palm wallet and Mentalist Pad ( Jerry O’Connell )

Hello !
Can any one comment …
As a newer person to magic, I’m interested in the No Palm wallet, and like the look of his Mentalist Pad too.
I’ve seen some ‘posts’ already, but does any one have ant thoughts on the Wallet for a junior,
and any experience of the Mentalist Pad ?!
Regards,
Piers.

Sorry Piers I don't know the wallet

I have the Metalist Wallet........if you are into mentalism you will get use from it certainly and it is a nice prop....I bought mine from Alan Shaxon when he lectured at the Plymouth Magic Circle about 2 yrs ago and although I am interested in mentalism and would like to incorporate mentalism into my act I haven't found a use for the pad as yet!!

I was in the local magic shop yesterday and was looking at the very Jerry O'Connel wallet you mention......it's a very nice prop as is all wallets made by Jerry, but he makes many variations and they are very expensive but you pay for what you get.....an expensive price for a quality item.......if you think you will use the no palm feature then you will pay that bit extra, I personally wouldn't get a use from that as I would just palm the card and pay a bit less....his palm wallet is a bit less expensive! :)

At the moment I am using a Balducci wallet, which works just fine but it doesn't have the card to sealed envelope feature so I am a bit tempted but put off by the price at the moment.......is it worth shelling out about £90 to add this feature to my act!

Then again Jerry does the full monte version, which is a palm, no palm and card to sealed envelope version but it depends what you want to do with it and do you need all those features......! :)

Wallet and Pad

Thnaks for the comment.
It's interesting no one seems to use the mentalist pad.
I think it looks like something that, with proper handling, could be a great 'trick'.
Thanks again ,
Piers.
