Anyone seen/heard of this lil' gadget ???

Is this for real or what:

I'm a firm believer of, "if it sounds too good to be true ......."

.... so what gives with this lil' device???

Pay £25 for The Energy Wizard and save 10% ish on your electric bills by doing ..... well, nothing.
Apparently it's been on Dragon's Den, but anyone could say that.

Has anyone seen/heard or better still tried this??

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Must note, it was not this actual device that was featured on Dragon's Den, but another item that the company makes.

This doesn't bode well, either. This smacks of those electricity cleaning devices for stereos that plainly do nothing. I'm prepared to be wrong, though.

For some reason that reminded me of:

be cautious, I too am prepared to be wrong, but I work in the cable business and it seems like the only way such a device can work is to clean your signal. The problem is if you are loosing signal it is usually because of bad connections, old wiring, or wiring not hooked up properly in the first place. Non of which can be fixed by plugging something into a wall. (yes a simple nick in a wire can cause signal loss).

If it is 'optimizing' your voltage then what you really need is an electrician to come and look at your set up to begin with because it should not be an issue.

Sorry to rain on your parade you skeptics but it's quite possible to achieve this. In fact, I have a 100% guaranteed mechanical device to cut your fuel bills in half, be they gas, electricity, oil, LPG - and even your other utility bills as well. Only £50...incl. P&P.

Urgh, you get worse!

On topic, these devices don't do squat, the one on dragon's den was something that when you pressed the stand-by button on your TV remote, it cut off the power from the plug, saving energy by avoiding standby time.

This thing looks about as reliable as a dowsing rod.
