The wands look great and the take-down function will be really helpful for many magicians. Would you be able to tell us the rough weight of the wands?

The "traditional conjuring wands" weigh 135 grams, which is a really nice, solid weight. The other wands (ie the Potter-eque ones) will be around the 90 gram mark.

i still think it'd be cool if they did something though...maybe just as simple as a magnetic tips...wow you could work wonders with that and a magnetic TT...but then again thats just my opinion.

For those of you who like an assortment of wands, check out cards4magic ( http://www.cards4magic.co.uk/acatalog/N ... ST_IN.html ) for the Magic Pro Magic Wands which operate in the same way as the Appearing 10ft pole, Appearing 10ft wand etc but on a somewhat smaller scale. Extended they are 500mm (20") long but appear from a space about the size of a Bic biro pen top. At 65p each or £3.50 for 6 they can be used as giveaways without breaking the bank. Also on that page are the Magnetic Wands which measure 150mm x 7mm (6" x 1/4" for the non metricated) and are £7.50 each. The ends are a sparkly silver but, if you prefer the traditional white, the sparkly tape can easily be removed and the ends painted. Great scope for effects involving stealing selected coins and other steel cored objects. I also see that Penguin are advertising a Wand Pen ( http://www.penguinmagic.com/europe/product.php?ID=968 )where one end is a biro and the other a marker. At £2.77 with free UK P&P, they're worth trying if only for the effect of whipping out your trusty wand to sign autographs - if you get that lucky!
