Comments I love this piece of equipment. As I said its totally examinable and it can be examined before, during and after the effect. As the blurb says you can use it for Monte style gambling but I am sure many of you could find other routines for it.
Quick Monte routine is as follows. You press a button to show that button lights the LED which is set in the box. The spectator presses the same button and now the LED won't light up. You now press a different button to show it now lights but when the spectator presses the same button, once again the LED won't light. You can carry on like this for as long as you wish. The box is well made and the buttons give off a resounding click when pressed. The instructions as with all UYD effects are clear and easy to understand. The LED has a lifetime guarantee as do the internal components and electronics. The Monte Box comes with 4 different routines. Great fun.

Check out the demo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xk6KSflt ... r_embedded

Hi there
Thanks for the review, I just think you guys need to know that the demo on youtube is very old now and the box used on the demo is also an old design, the new monte boxes do not have numbers on the boxes, neither are any wires exposed at all,as customer reviews told me to dump the numbers so we did this, and the box colour is mahogany and not dark oak, though colours can be asked for if you want as we can supply any colour from antique pine to Jacobean dark oak and all between.
Ill be filming a new demo for this soon, the effect is of course the same as the old demo, and I hope to get more than one routine filmed as well.
The pictures on the website show the new boxes without label.
All the monte boxes both pocket and table top, can be customised and are available with either a light or a buzzer mounted at no extra cost.
If you have any questions further to this review I would be happy to answer them.
Think I have covered everything...
Regards and thank you again

Is there a complicated sequence to learn?

Hi there
There is nothing to learn really, if you can press a button you can do this trick, now I know that I would say that as the maker of the box, but the sequence is so simple, if you need further help please PM or I am sure someone who owns one will tell you their experiences. Basically you have full control at all times.
Hope this info helps

Like any effect you do it takes a little effort but in five minutes I had the basics off. As I posted in my review the Instructions are clear and very easy to understand. I have found new things every time I have picked it up. If you can press a button you can do this effect. Follow the basic routine and that will set you up for the other routines that come with this. It is that easy.
It really isn't complicated.

Just received mine and it is excellent for the pocket. The light is flush with the unit so even a clumsy person like me can carry it safely
