If you really want to improve your pass. I've got a much better learning tool. First I'll give you the 'method' to improve, then I will explain why and all should become clear.
First forget (for now) the effect on your video clip. Come up with a very simple straight forward Ambition Card Routine. During one segment of the bringing the card to the top use the pass. Also use a tilt move, double undercut, whatever. For arguments sake bring the card to the top 3 times, only once with the pass.
Once you have the Ambition Card smooth and at performance level, video the thing and then show it here. However ask about the effect, along the lines of: "Hey people, I'm working out a quick and dirty Ambitious Card Routine, please take a look and any critisism would be appreciated.
Then watch for remarks. some may notice the pass and offer advice on improvements. (if they do notice, then obviously your pass is lacking in the first place, but at least you know for sure) If the comments bi-pass the pass (pun intended) and advice is made elsewhere, then you know where you stand on the pass and have the bonus of tips in other areas.
Ask 'how is my pass' then you have tipped your hand. We know it is there, we are going to see it and we are going suggest improvements that may not be improvements.
The fact of the matter is we don't perform the pass, we perform and effect that uses the pass, and that is what needs to be judged because if the trick passes the test then obviously so does the pass. If some of the magicians don't recognize that you have used one you are well on your way. But you will never know that if you start by asking the question you asked.
Understand my point?
But to answer your question, your pass didn't look great, Did I see the actual move? Nope, card was not there, then it was. Did I know something was up. You bet. Your arms jerked, you turned the deck for no reason at the end, really didn't make sense. If you put the pass in a better routine with some patter and slowed it down like you were actually presenting something rather then just doing a trick, then it possibly was very good.
And lastly if that is the effect, then it needs a little 'umph' for lack of a better word.
