I thought the looky-likey in the video clip was quite funny.....! Criss couldn't even be bothered to appear in the ad for his 'own' product - unless he's worn particularly badly over the last few years!!

One years consumption of cheese ingested in just one trailer. I just can't take Criss Angel seriously due to videos like that and I definitely don't want his magic products.

The women-will-take-interest-in-you message in the advert is just cringe worthy and quite shameful.

I don't like his style, but, he has had 6 seasons on a national network.

So he's better than all of us, in very many respects.

I did think that the overall choice of effects, are hardly his style..

but the packaging looked good. :)

This is probably something they couldnt shift at the cirque show in Vegas.

The Cirque show is an independent entity to Mindfreak and isn't available at either store in Vegas, I looked!

I do not remember seeing anything magic related in either store. It was all clothing, posters, keychains etc.

My wife bought his biography and that has 40 or so effects in the back of it but I've not got round to reading it so cannot really say. I know that there were huge problems with supplying the magic set before Christmas because my wife (bless her) was going to get it for me but there were people who had been waiting several months for it and still no sign.

Guess that's sorted now.

If it's available when I am next in LV I'll buy one to go with my Paul Daniel's Magic Set. Might get a Lance Burton one too... :D

The reactions in that commercial were pretty lol.

But I've never used the set, so I can't comment on it. Looks okay tbh.

For only two payments of $14.99 & S&H. So that's actually $30 plus whatever it costs to get it to wherever you live. S&H being variable is understandable but the price details are a crafty bit of mis-advertising!

It makes me glad at times like this that Mentalism is not so easily exposed.

I could honestly not care enough about Criss Angel or his over paid marketing team. Most of the effects on there are easy to buy from literally any magic shop in the world. And I highly doubt Criss even teaches them, you'll just get a set of badly written instructions and maybe a "autograph" by him.

Hell, he couldn't even be bothered enough to be in a commercial for his own products!
