Yes - they're all good. Love the one about "could" care less. Grrr - one of my pet peeves too!

Me too! I also particularly hate the misuse of the word "ironic" but the one that gets me the most is when people state that a particular view or comment is "harsh but fair"! It can't be excessively negative (harsh) whilst maintaining fairness; what you probably mean is that it is "harsh but TRUE". I worked with several people who used it on a frequent (not regular!) basis, but I could never bring myself to ask them not to, not least because they were responsible for my performance assessments!
