I'm not sure how Mark LeMezma's effect works (basically 'cos I've never heard of it lol ) so I can't compare the two, but without giving too much away, with "Eye To Eye", you get a gimmick which enables you to determine which hand the spec is holding the ball in. The easy part is determining which hand it's in - the hard pard is performing it well, so that the spec thinks that you're reading their body signals, etc.

Mark LeMezma's effect in his Mind Magic book is really just a guide to what basic signs to look for, nothing like EYE To EYE.
I bought this trick a few months ago but haven't performed it yet because I feel the way you have to position yourself is very suspect. I got the free DVD with this that shows Charles Gauci performing this and didn't think he made it look very entertaining. Will have to keep practising. Need taller guinea pigs I think.

Jason Alexander (George from 'Seinfeld') does a great version of this effect on the October 2007 edition of Reel Magic. (no doubt it's on youtube or the suchlike as well by now!).

Very humourous approach with some great patter.

Found a nice ball in toys R us today that works nicely for this as I didn't like the medallion that much. Its also looks like the ball from oddball fitting the two in nicely. Anyone who's interested PM for details as I'd prefer not risk any exposure.

Contact the retailer you bought it from. If it was meant to come wih a dvd you will be sent it...
