Yesterday I was sitting comfortably at work minding my own, when some of my colleagues started talking to a new guy about me and my mindreading. They was explaining how I guessed the name of someones first pet (which took some prep!) So then one of them just shouted out "Ok Chris, what is the neame of my first pet?". I was quite startled and couldnt think what to do as my usual "appliances" when in my jacket that was hanging up. So I decided to improvise and thought if I dont get it then so what! I started doing what I see as cold reading, yet I have never even read up on this before. I was saying things like "This animal was small?" "It has a vowel near the beggining". I then established it began with an A, and just said "Its something silly isnt it like Ascot or Aintree" (Dont ask why!!) And she said no with a slight smile, I then said " It does have an S after the A?" She replied "yes". Then I just said it.... Astra.... and I was correct!!!
I still dont know how!
Someone else ask me to do theirs, after some more byplay I said "This is a name of a character in a film or something?" The said "Yes, on TV!".
I then used some common and went by their age.... "This is old, from the 80's?" "Yes", "a comedy series... begins with M...." "Yes!" "But the name IS NOT the tv title.... "YES!!!"
I said that I couldnt tell, and they replied "Mindy"
Now I scared myself, but I couldnt show it as they dismissed it as what I normally do, even though they never wrote it down!!!

We have a fully fledged psychic in our midsts - duh de du duh duh de du duh (cue Twilight Zone music)!!!

Just hope I dont start getting "possessed" by spirits like Derek Ackorah!!!
