It says 'fortune tellers and witches'. So it doesn't matter if your earnings are from fortune telling. You could be a witch that works as an IT consultant, but they wouldn't tax you out of fear that you'd curse them.

So, it's pretty much the same as the situation we have over here, where politicians drop an investigation into phone tapping because one of the red top tabloid rags threatens to dig up dirt on the lot of them if they continue...

ooh, it also means that you just have to claim to be into Wicca to avoid tax. it's a bit like claiming to be gay to avoid national service. How do you prove otherwise? And with fear being the way it is, the cowards wouldn't investigate too deeply either.
