Ian Kendall's "b***** Hard Moves Made Easy" CD

Postby GoldFish » May 6th, '05, 15:40

Title: b***** Hard Moves Made Easy
Cost: £12 from Ian's Website

Overall: 10/10

Contents:

Introduction - Does what it says on the tin
Top Shot - Lennart Green's excellent card shooting move
Instant Replay - Paul Harris' card juggling
Cascade Control - Charlie Miller's card control via Paul Chosse
The Faro Shuffle - In the hands version
The Faro Shuffle - One handed version

Filler section:

The Faro Shuffle - Tabled version
False Dealing - First clip
False dealing - Second and Bottom Dealing from the same grip
Blockhead - Don't try this at home
Basic Coin Magic - The trailer for my other CD on coin magic

Comments: Ian's teaching style is one of the best I have ever come accross, both in the world of magic and elsewhere. Every tiny detail is accounted for, and each move is covered thoroughly and completely. For example, I've just learnt the Faro shuffle using Ian's CD. I am now doing perfect Faro's, and I started watching the video less than an hour ago. This is compared to me spending an entire day trying to learn the Faro shuffle from Expert Card Technique. Ian is a fantastic tutor and I whole heartedly recommend this CD. And at £12 you cannot go wrong. You will not find this quality of teaching on a CD for the same price (unless it's another of Ian's CDs). Infact I would say that you will not find this quality of teaching on most DVDs which are twice the price! This CD is a must for any serious card magician, and I would recommend it to anybody else aswell.

All the best,

Will Wood

Thanks for the excellent review Will.

I totally agree with you on what you say about Ian's teaching ability. I have only seen his basic coin cd so far (highly recommended if you are looking to get started with coins), but I found it excellent. Very easy to learn from.

The b** moves made easy cd has been on my wish list for a while now, so maybe I will bite the bullet and give it a shot.

Yea, I've actually just ordered the Basic Coin CD. I've never really got into coin magic but if Ian's CD is as top notch as his BHMME CD then I really have no excuse!

I really recommend BHMME. Like I said, the teaching is amazingly thourough and there is so much valuable information contained on the CD that I really think you'd be missing out if you didn't get a copy.

All the best,
