According to wikipedia he's grown up to be a 62 year old Grand Prix motorcycle road racer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Herron

...

who died in 1979.

...

I think it might be a different Tom Herron.

Still, he vanished a Crazy Frog which is brilliant on so many different levels. :D

That was genuinely one of the better magic acts on there, ... unfortunately. Do you think they only let mediocre ones through in the 'preliminary phase' the one before the judges are brought in?

Surely there would have been at least one good act on by now?

Phillip, who are you referring to as one of the better magical acts? Please tell me it's not magic Al. He looks like he has bought a couple of items on penguin a fortnight before and doesn't sound intelligent enough to realise he was getting laughed at.

Tom Herron is a little charmer. You can see from the props he had with him there is a genuine interest in magic somewhere in the family. From what the mother said when he came off I get the idea either she or the father are magician's, they just know better than to go on BGT, but realised the potential of a fun experience for the young lad. Either way, he'll actually be able to look back on that in years to come and be proud, there aren't that many youngsters who can make that claim.

Oh god Tom definitely, sorry if that wasn't clear, and to be honest, that vanish still completely floored me :p
