Ring and Rope.

Postby Jing » Sep 18th, '10, 13:01

Where can I get a solid metal hoop, for a ring and rope routine.
Not a linking ring, they are too thin - I need some weight to it
Also, a proper size, not a curtain ring, and not a hula-hoop.

I see them on magic videos, so you must be able to get them, but I'm thinking they are a 'normal object' used for something else, but what?
Thanks.

Try a Quater Pound of Pure Brass.

It works well for me.

Linky

There's also a chrome-plated one, if you prefer something silver and shiny. See here.

Many Thanks, just what I was looking for.
I'll go for the chrome, I think!

If there is a saddle or tack shop near by, there are seemless bridal and harness rings you might find to be perfect. I have used one of those for years - I like the size and weight of it.
