The images have a nice professional picture quality. I couldn't really understand much of what was going on in the card trick, it looked like one of those pick a card and put it back, is that your card style routines. I was hoping you would do something magical with the huge distracting watch on your wrist.
I also liked the way the barman was leaning with his elbows on the bar being entertained by your card tricks while standing behind you there was a long queue of people waiting for drinks.
But other than that it was lovely. Show us some more.

Nothing says quality magic like no talking and a trance music track.

Sorry I got bored after the third time you turned the deck around, but I did re-watch it because I'm feeling gracious today. Seriously you made that effect a lot more complicated than it needs to be. You flashed horribly and if you go back to the basics you can perform the same effect without the un-necessary sleights that you were flashing anyway. The video made it really unclear that the effect was in essence that half the deck was turned face up, the other half face down and the two halves shuffled together and then the outcome being the selected card is the only one reversed in the deck. So 80% of the effect was lost because of the lousy camera angle. 10% lost due to the distraction of the constant turning the deck around, the other 10% due to the flashing of the method.

You should have been performing to a customer rather than somebody working behind the bar.

If you are seriously thinking of putting out a DVD of techinques, my suggestion is don't. One, there is more than enough on techniques such as the entire Card College series and yours are nothing new and from that limited performance, the techniques you do use needs some work.

but keep it up the bar tender looked happy.

What's Peter Andre doing working in a bar in a silly plastic hat? And wasn't that Chantelle serving drinks behind him?

And my ears! What was that noise?!

I guess I should add that the porn music in the background was also distracting.

The porn music was played over the top so that you can't hear the customers behind moaning and complaining about how long they've been waiting for a drink.

Nice but keep practicing

Amir,

Keep at it. You have a long way to go before you can put out a video others can benefit from.

You fiddle too much which tips when you are doing (or about to do) a sleight. With practice, your sleights will become second nature. Once that happens, the smoothness will follow.

Check out cardmen like John Carney, Lennart Green, Larry Jennnings or Dai Vernon. Notice how natural and smooth they are? You can strive for that. No hesitation, every action is justified and the magic just happens.

Good luck!
