I Just noticed a "Spare Square" for advertisers at the bottom of the page, maybe Murphy's will snap that one up! I think they intend to put a massive advertising campaign into action soon, so maybe they will advertise on Magic Week as well, seeing as there was no mention of them this week on the news page............

I'm glad that I was right about not selling you a duff trick, we've got to know each other quite well, & I think I know what suits you, plus suggest things that are not too difficult for you.

I just wish that EVERYONE built up the same relationship that we have , but sometimes people just buy things without checking them out first, then they spend longer moaning about the purchase, than the time it would have taken to just make that PHONE CALL!!!

Actually you're right it does take an immense amount of time to post items on there and House of Magic is busy at the moment, I'm not experiencing the 'dwindling sales' maybe you are getting. I would rather focus my time and effort on giving customers excellent service when they walk through my door, rather than ignoring them and working online. My comment about 'ignore the sellers' was for another member of Talk Magic who complained about it. Therefore my advice was simply enjoy Murphy's page and 'ignore the selling.'

Also on your comment on the www. situation I notice you also link your site on your posts and House of Magic also pays for an advert on Talk Magic, therefore I don't 'advertise on here for free.'

Rest assured Mike I am not going to start a 'flame war' (whatever that is !?!) and will not comment further in this topic. House of Magic is a well established bricks and mortar shop with a fantastic history behind it I'm lucky to now be the owner and it's reputation as a professional shop never needs to be defended.

I'm forced to agree with you about you being a legitimate advertiser, the fact that I didn't realise that means that I missed your ad!! I'm sure if I WANTED something, then that's when I might have looked for it (plus the other ads of course!). HOWEVER I NEVER miss the www.'s at the bottom of peoples posts, & as long as we keep contributing (like we are now!) we are getting our www.s onto the forum whether we PAY for advertising or NOT! & that was the point I was making (no personal dig at you), & I stand by what I say "Everyone does it" (well not everyone,but you know what I mean!!)
